Open Day at Hamlin Road Organic Farm
Come along and join us at Hamlin Road Organic Farm for our Open Day.
Activities available at open day are:
Interactive farm tour and workshops - including introduction to composting, polycultures, wedding, cut and drop methods and cuttings.
There will be a plant/produce sale and chance to win an organic produce/seedlings prize pack (free raffle on entry)
A smoothie bike using our harvest produce and pedal power to create your own smoothies
We will also have a class on holistic health where you will get a chance to try out some yoga and mindfulness.
Bring a pair of sturdy shoes, comfortable weather appropriate clothing, and get stuck in and join the fun.
Hamlin Road Organic Farm is part of Pathways Health Ltd, an NGO Mental Health and Addiction Service, Certified Organic Farm providing transition to employment and NZQA training in horticulture for people with a lived experience of Mental Health.
